Warehouse Associate job duties and responsibilities

Warehouse associates or warehouse workers should expect to perform many different duties, which can include:

• Loading, unloading and moving products and materials by hand or by using equipment 
• Counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking products of various sizes to make sure shipments are safe
• Keeping an inventory of products in the warehouse and making sure everything is in the correct place and ordered if needed
• Receiving Product
• Warehouse Inventory
• Packing and Shipping Product
• Keeping the area safe and ensuring the safety of other warehouse workers
• Working with others within the warehouse and managers to make sure daily procedures are done
