Sales & Catering Manager

POSITION: Sales & Catering Manager
The Sales and Catering Manager is responsible for selling, planning and coordinating all aspects of events at the MCM Elegante Suites Hotel.  This position requires an energetic, detail-orientated person with a passion for providing 4-star service, a flexible can-do-attitude along with excellent communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Solicit and secure business through a proactive, focused sales approach using all available technologies to identify new customers in the market while continuing to saturate existing accounts
Make sales calls to new and existing customers.
Develop strong professional long-term business relationships.

Requirements
Previous sales experience in Hospitality sales and or events is not required but certainly a plus.
Have a deep desire to always produce quality results – taking pride in work, supporting your MCM Elegante Suites team and having fun while you do it. Excellent time management, self-management, and self-motivation. Must be organizationally savvy with a keen focus on detail. 
Possess determination and commitment to achieving financial expectations. 
Must be able to pass a background and drug test                                                                              
Must have and maintain a responsible means of transportation
