Description

We are thrilled to announce Noah Project’s inaugural D.O.V.E Luncheon (Dignified Options through Validation & Empowerment), taking place on Thursday, October 9th, 2025 at Abilene Convention Center from 11:30a.m. – 1:00p.m. We are inviting you to be part of this powerful event that will bring together community leaders, advocates, and change-makers for an unforgettable afternoon of courage, connection, and commitment to ending domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault.

Our keynote speaker, Debra Newell, is no stranger to survival. As the real-life woman behind the hit podcast and Netflix series Dirty John, Debra will share her gripping story of escaping psychological manipulation and abuse. Her message of reclaiming power and using her voice to bring awareness to coercive control will not only inspire but also ignite transformation.

This luncheon isn’t about telling stories; it’s about changing them for the brave survivors we serve every single day. In recent months, we have experienced a 67% increase in shelter occupancy, serving on average 75 clients per night, right here in Abilene! This reflects the growing need for our services in Abilene and the 10-county region we serve. Your support of Noah Project and this luncheon makes that possible.

We invite you to join us as a sponsor or table host at our inaugural luncheon, where your presence and partnership will directly impact lives in our community. Will you say yes to standing beside us in offering survivors a path forward paved with safety, dignity, and hope?
