Understanding and utilizing different social media platforms for your business can be overwhelming. In this month's Business Mentorship session will explore with local LinkedIn expert, Travis Ruiz (Nexstar Media Group) on how you and your business can benefit from a presence on LinkedIn.
ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:
Travis Ruiz is a Senior Corporate Recruiter for Nexstar Media Group, Inc. He specializes in recruiting journalists for Nexstar’s 199 TV stations across the country. Before joining the corporate world, Travis spent more than 5 years leading the news operations as News Director at Nexstar’s Abilene TV stations, KTAB and KRBC.
Travis is experienced with many facets of LinkedIn and is able to help both businesses and individuals on how to increase engagement and effectively reach their target demographics.
Although Travis spends time traveling for work, he has made Abilene home. In the community, Travis serves as a Big Brother and Board Chairman of Big Brothers Big Sisters Abilene, Board Chair of the Hispanic Business Council and Chair-Elect for the Abilene Convention and Visitors Bureau. He also serves on the board for Goodwill West Texas and the Abilene Chamber.
