Description

Business Edge is an opportunity for business professionals at all levels to discuss topics in a small group with other professionals. Abilene Industrial Foundation in conjunction with Develop Abilene are hosting a monthly online roundtable. It will be held during lunch (12 pm – 1 pm) with a business providing an overview of a topic and the rest of the participants providing input through idea generation and sharing. This is designed for the business professional who is solution-focused and is energized by small group dialogue.

For January, Sarah Burch, Human Resources Director for Abimar, will be providing an overview of the research she has collected about requiring employee COVID-19 vaccinations. Should employers require the vaccinations? What are the implications for requiring vaccinations? What could be the intended and unintended consequences for mandatory vaccinations?

Participants will then have an opportunity to ask questions, provide examples from their own work place and share what they know. At the end of the discussion, participants will have gained additional knowledge and connected with other professionals in the community.

Participation is limited to 10 individuals.
You can even eat lunch while you join us!

ABOUT OUR SESSION LEADER: Sarah Burch has lived in Abilene since 2015 and was worked in benefits, HR and payroll since 2005.
