Description

Converting 19th & 20th century buildings to 21st century uses can be hard to pencil. Fortunately, tax credit programs at both the state and federal level are available to help with the added cost of bringing old buildings to code, achieving ADA compatibility, and attaining energy efficiency. Learn how to leverage these credits into project capital, through syndication, sale and bridge financing.

$10 per event and includes a box lunch

Featuring Speakers Will French and Haley Wilcox

Will French: Will French manages the Forest Road Company’s real estate tax credit activities and investments, which include historic tax credits, opportunity zones, and other real estate opportunities. Starting in 2003, Will was one of the early pioneers in film tax credit finance. Since then, he has financed or acquired in excess of $300M tax credits for more than 125 film and television projects, and more than $75M tax credits for more than 80 real estate projects.

Haley Wilcox: Haley Wilcox is an Austin-based historic preservation consultant currently engaged in expanding Downtown Abilene’s commercial National Register Historic District. A specialist in tax credit consulting, Haley can guide project design teams through the process of securing state and federal historic tax credits from start to finish.
