We will depart from the north parking lot of Abilene Convention Center at 5am. We will depart Austin at 230pm and return to Abilene at 630pm.

Cost to attend will be $45/person. Lunch will be on your own.

Description
Abilene Chamber Day at the Capitol is an opportunity for Chamber members to meet in Austin with their elected officials and tour the Texas capitol building. We will meet on the House floor with Representative Stan Lambert for a resolution at 10am and on the Senate floor with Senators Perry and Buckingham for a resolution at 11am. You will have the opportunity to visit and ask questions.
You will be released for lunch on your own and then treated to a "behind the scenes" tour of the Capitol with the Collections Curator from the State Preservation Board.
Charter bus transportation and a commemorative group photo will be provided. This event is by reservation only. Seating is limited.
