**UPDATE: Due to the present weather conditions, this session is being moved to February 26 at 12 p.m.

Business Edge is an opportunity for business professionals at all levels to discuss topics in a small group with other professionals. Abilene Industrial Foundation in conjunction with Develop Abilene are hosting a monthly online roundtable. It will be held during lunch (12 pm – 1 pm) with a business providing an overview of a topic and the rest of the participants providing input through idea generation and sharing. This is designed for the business professional who is solution-focused and is energized by small group dialogue.

ABOUT THIS SESSION: 

Tax Season & COVID 
We'll explore with our partners at Eide Bailly the impact the CARES Act and other regulations will have on this year's tax season. Led by Joe Melson, Joe will give a high-level view on relief, credits and more regarding filing. 

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:

Joe Melson is a Tax Partner at Eide Bailly, LLP.  Since 1988, Joe has been providing public accounting services, including tax compliance, planning services and tax return preparation for businesses, individuals, trust and nonprofits.
