DESCRIPTION:Abilene Chamber Day at the Capitol is an opportunity for Chamber members to meet in Austin with their elected officials and tour the Texas capitol building. We will meet on the House floor with Representative Stan Lambert for a resolution at 10am and on the Senate floor with Senators Perry and Buckingham for a resolution at 11am.  You will have the opportunity to visit and ask questions. \n\nYou will be released for lunch on your own and then treated to a "behind the scenes" tour of the Capitol with the Collections Curator from the State Preservation Board. \n\nCharter bus transportation and a commemorative group photo will be provided. This event is by reservation only. Seating is limited.
